About

Built by people who understand the lesson, not just the software

Woodshed is a two-person team: one of us teaches and plays, the other builds the business around it. We started from the same problem every music teacher already knows: the practice week is where learning actually happens, and it's the part nobody can see.

Where we are today

Early, and building from real classrooms

Woodshed is bringing on a small number of music programs right now, through direct relationships rather than a public launch: a university-level department and a franchise studio. We're deliberately not naming them publicly yet; that's a call we'll revisit once those programs are further along and comfortable being named.

What that means for you: we don't have published case studies or logos to show yet. What we can offer instead is a direct, honest conversation about what the product actually does, and a demo built around your own repertoire and workflow rather than a generic script.

Why "Woodshed"

The name is a musician's word

"Woodshedding" is what musicians call serious, focused private practice: the unglamorous work between performances where real progress happens. That's the part of learning this product exists for.
